The placement season, run on the record instead of a spreadsheet

Eligibility comes from the marks and attendance already in the ERP. Nobody rebuilds a shortlist by hand the night before a drive, and nobody chases students for a resume Ivake already holds.

How a drive runs

Six steps, one record

A recruiter arrives, a drive is scheduled, students apply, offers land. Each step writes to the same student profile the academics team already maintains.

01 · Recruiter on file

Company, roles, package bands, the people who visit and what they hired last year. The next season starts from a list rather than from memory.

02 · Drive scheduled

Dates, rounds, venue and panel. Students see it in the app, and the academic calendar knows which classes are affected.

03 · Eligibility applied

CGPA, backlogs, attendance, branch and gap years read straight from the ERP. The shortlist is a query, not an evening of filtering.

04 · Students apply

One tap in the app. The resume is generated from the record, so it carries verified marks rather than typed ones.

05 · Rounds tracked

Aptitude, technical, HR. Who cleared, who dropped and why, visible to the cell while the drive is still running.

06 · Offer recorded

Package, role, joining date and the offer letter, attached to the student. Multiple offers and policy caps are handled openly.

Built for how placement cells actually work

The awkward parts are the product

One-offer policies

Dream offers, sector caps, and the rule that a placed student stops appearing in shortlists. Set it once and it applies during eligibility, not after an argument.

Off-campus and referrals

Students who find their own offer still count towards progression. They record it, you verify it, and it appears in the same report.

Training that precedes it

Aptitude batches, mock interviews and certification tracks, with attendance and scores on the same profile the recruiter's shortlist reads.

Higher studies and entrepreneurship

Not every outcome is a job. GATE, GRE, CAT, a family business or a startup are recorded as outcomes rather than left as blanks.

Internships as a season

Summer internships run the same flow, and a pre-placement offer links back to the internship that produced it.

Reports accreditors accept

Progression by programme, median package, and the three-year view NAAC and NBA ask for, drawn from offers rather than assembled in March.

Questions

What placement officers ask first

Can we run this without the Institution ERP?

Yes. You can run training & placement on its own and import the student list, marks and attendance you need for eligibility. It is more useful alongside the ERP, because eligibility then reads live data instead of a file somebody uploaded last month, but it is not a requirement.

How do recruiters interact with it?

Through a link, not an account they have to create. A recruiter opens the drive, sees the shortlist you approved, and marks results round by round. Nothing they do reaches student records directly — the cell confirms every outcome before it lands.

Does it produce the NAAC and NBA progression tables?

It produces the underlying data: outcomes per student per programme, across the years you select, with the offer or admission letter attached as evidence. The tables are generated from that, so the figure in the report and the figure in Ivake are the same number.

Book a demo

See Ivake running on your own data

Send us a sample before the call: a term of enquiries, a fee structure, or a class list. We load it and set up your programmes, so you see your own institution on screen rather than a demo account.

  • 45 minutes, your data. Not a generic tour of features.
  • Migration mapped on the call. We show exactly where your current records land.
  • A written rollout plan within two working days, with phases, owners and dates.
  • No pressure to switch everything at once. Most schools and colleges start with one department or one intake.
